Fiambrera system works!
After a delayed launch our showroom, the first Fiambrera Ko outlet has emerged. Four months later, we concluded, that the system really works!
Solution to a failing restaurant
The showroom was first intended only as a 'demo' showroom so that people could have the look and feel of a Fiambrera Ko Outlet. The first day drag a crowd. We were estimating the the next day, the same amount of people will return. To our surprise, it grew to almost 200% and on the other day, yet again the customers doubled. The only sign posted at the door at that time was a sign that said "Soft Opening Today" printed in a series of 3 short-bond papers, a makeshift sign to test if people would appreciate the concept. Somehow we knew that this could be a solution to a lot of failing restaurants out there.
Word of mouth? or plainly conscious at what's cooking
After a few days of the trial opening, we start to see the faces coming back every lunch. Soon that person become a group of 3 then a group of 5 and so on. Maybe they are just curious and just want to try the new taste, or plainly conscious and starting to become aware of how their food were prepared. Somehow they started to drop by every lunch and keep coming back as our dine-in attendants have already established customer-to-client relationship with them.
Not enough room during lunchtime
The surge of the customers gave us a problem with space. How would you feel seeing your loyal customer getting discouraged for missing a seat due to lack of space. We are just starting up but the problem at hand points to a solution of expanding. We cannot address this problem right away, but the customers adjusted their schedules for us. They eat their lunch 30 minutes earlier or later, and some even started asking for the Fiambrera pack lunch to be delivered to their offices! And this is where the franchise concept began brewing ideas. Ideas that would somehow, someday, spur and explode, catering to offices, schools and even villages. The spin-offs are limitless, from variety packaging to merchandising.
